From Andrea White -
Hello all -
We are all starting to wane in our energy levels, but we have done an incredible amount of work, and as of yesterday, I think you could see more paint color on our clothes than actual jeans or painter´s pants. We have an awesome team, everybody has their special gifts and is fast at certain things so we just plugged away, and accomplished a lot in a little time - we finished five days of work in four, so we are off to Copan today to rest a little so we don´t have to be like Dad who said this morning - I´m gonna go downstairs to look at our website (we look at it as often as you all do) and drink about 100 cups of coffee ;-) Honduran cups, that is, which is about 1/4 to 1/2 of the American cup.
We are all having in incredible time with the people here, so thank you to everybody again.
Smiles,
Andrea

From Bill Kellner -
Thursday was a long hard day. We committed to completing the four downstairs rooms of the day care center before going back to the hotel and we exceeded that goal by an entire room. We started 30 minutes earlier and got a jump on the heat but the sky was clear and the sun was hot. By noon it was in the mid-90s inside. Still we kept pushing on, painting the multicolored walls, touching up, cutting in on the ceiling and the baseboard. Lunch was great because the children from the Church school get out just as we are leaving and they all want to practice their English on us. In the afternoon it became clear that with a little push we could get another room complete so as a person finished their task downstairs they headed upstairs and jumped in. After getting a second and third coat on the ceiling and sealing the walls we began painting the color. Not my favorite color, something like the inside of a pumpkin. We finished as darkness closed in with the aid of flashlights. Everybody slept well and we are headed back this morning to finish up some remaining activities. This afternoon we head to Copan for our cultural heritage exploration or tour of the ruins. Best to all. Bill
