A couple of quick notes from San Pedros Fishing Company:

We made great time through the line at TACA and Alice watched as our bags went through the inspection process.

Boarding the plane was a zoo.  They loaded from the front and back but did not divide the passengers according to the seats. We sat on the plane for over an hour waiting because they only load the bags after they passengers are on the plane and accounted for in their seat. So we arrived late with some concern about our connection which we should have missed but found out it was the same plane with a new crew and flight number.

The airport was not as bad as we anticipated. After having our mug shots taken and being fingerprinted we made it through aduanas without any problems. Outside we boarded a 50 year old school bus and headed to the hotel. Too dark to see much.

After getting everybody settled into their rooms, arguing over the cost of the rooms and the exchange rate, I paid the bill, locked up the rest of our cash in the safe, and hit the hay around 2:15 am our time.
